Nyawira’s Heritage Hub is a proudly African brand celebrating our continent’s traditions through authentic handmade crafts. Every piece of art, beadwork, fabric and handcrafted product carries a story that connects us to our history, culture and identity.Our collection includes Maasai sandals, sisal bags, beadwork, jewellery, shukas and other artisan pieces inspired by generations of craftsmanship. We blend tradition with modern style, and we’re passionate about supporting local artisans and keeping traditional skills alive.

My story

My name is Nyawira, and Nyawira’s Heritage Hub grew from my love for African culture, art, and the stories that connect us to our roots.
I’ve always been drawn to the colours, patterns, beadwork and fabrics of our traditions, and the meaning behind them. As an artist and craft maker, I paint, create handcrafts, and curate culturally inspired pieces such as beadwork, sandals, jewellery and woven bags.I believe our culture shouldn’t only be remembered as something from the past. It can be created, worn, displayed, celebrated and passed on.I may have started small, but I believe something meaningful grows from a small beginning built with passion and purpose. This is more than a business to me. It’s my creative journey, and my way of celebrating where we come from while creating something for where we are going.
